I was so very saddened to hear the news of Paul’s passing. I only saw him again recently at a music gig after not seeing him for many years. He was doing what he loved, playing drums. I realise it is little consolation but I understand he left us doing exactly what he loved, drumming. Paul was a nice human being, he took success and failure as it came and I am very happy to have known him. You leave us too early Paul. Keep on banging the drums.

Paul and I go back some years. I remember Paul as a good friend, always up for a laugh. Lots of memories including the day he and I bunked of work to spend the day in Blackpool complete with knotted hankies. Boy did we get in trouble the next day!! Have fun with the heavenly band you are sure to form Paul!

Since Paul joined our band, we have gone from strength to strength and his great in drumming and musicality was no small part of that. Playing alongside Paul was always a pleasure, and he kept us laughing with his wit and humour. Paul was one of the good guys and we miss him greatly. It was a pleasure to know him and a privilege to play alongside this much-loved man. R.I.P. Paul, our friend, you will be missed by so many who knew and loved you.

We got to know Paul more than 30 years ago when we needed someone to sort out our computers at home. Over the years that followed we became good friends with him and Sue. A more genuine and warm person it would be hard to find. We are shocked and saddened by his passing. God must have needed a drummer up in heaven. Every time we hear thunder we will will think of him.
